      This book broke my heart. I have never read the author before. I really like her and the depth she puts into her characters. You see Asher in the previous books as a the leader of the band and the protector. This is his and Ember’s heart wrenching story. This whole series is a must read and I hope the author continues with the others mentioned in the books. Would like to find out why Asher and the cousin (don’t remember which one right now…maybe Vandal?) don’t get along. I will be on the look out for new books. I listened to this in one day too.

      This is the story of Asher and Ember Valentine. Ember had an accident and was in a coma for 8 years. Asher remained faithful to her and held onto hope for her to wake up and resume their life together.
      But as Ember wakes up, she has no memory of her past life with Asher.
      This is the story of how they rekindle their love and how they each deal with Ember's recovery.
      This book was such a great emotional rollercoaster. It was really slow paced but rightly so. I thought the ending was a bit drawn out but I loved the raw emotions.

      I would really love reading a version of this where he was able to save her but gets hurt. I’d like to see how things play out if the shoe was on the other foot with these characters. This was such a beautiful story. I keep re-reading it!
