      Miller is seen as the bachelor for the Dallas Ice hockey team, and he doesn't even realise half the stuff he does. Layla doesn't want to touch him with a ten foot pole, but little does she know her drunken mind during a charity auction bids generously for Miller himself.

      Miller has been pining for Layla for 4 years, and he finally has his shot with this date night. He plans it all perfectly to woo her, but Layla has other plans that involve her Grandma, and she is one highly charged woman. Miller never knew what was coming for him.

      Only One Chance was probably the funniest out of the whole world Natasha has created. I loved the element of Google being brought in to determine how Miller navigates the dating world and Laylas Grandma, who is just a tornado of chaos. It was a fun and flirty read with a slap in the face for Miller, who comes to terms with his mannerisms around other women. I loved seeing all the side characters as normal and can not wait to read the next book.

      Another 5 stars for a great series, this one has very minor cameos from Dallas Oilers family. Everything in the series is stand alone with no cliffhangers, but if you read order the inside jokes and character interaction is so much fun. Love Layla is actually into sports, is knowledgeable and insightful. As a sports fan, get really tired of women being portrayed as being obvious or dragged to games or not getting the ins and outs of sports. Miller is a natural born flirt and charmer but Layla’s not having any of it. And he just can’t give up. Until he almost does. There’s a few missed opportunities, we hear that he has 2 degrees, wish a couple pages would develop in how that will be helpful or important down the road, and make narrators female voice is okay. Hope we see more of Granny in future too.

      By Jove, this one is a slow burn, but!! The minute they get it together it's just excellent and the drama (well.. there is always some drama in these books) is just so good it makes your heart ache for both of them. Totally adored Miller and Layla, now can't wait for Manning's story. Only this found strange was the ending of epilogue 2 (that was a first) as usually Natasha's books do not end on cliffhanger.
