      I truly enjoy the Misadventures series/collection, but how have I missed this one? Seriously HAF with a great story with a bit of mystery/suspense and excellent narration! I don't know how Jill Redfield isn't already ALL over my #faveylist, but I'm fixing that ASAP. Age gap with the woman older and higher in rank, instant connection, frantic desire - Loved it!

      This is a good age difference (13 years) between a heroine with a lot of baggage and a great hero who wants and loves her. It’s great to see the younger person have it more together, and I really enjoyed the HEA. I realized though that I don’t think I can read any police romances in this day and age; I wanted to read this because of Sierra Simone but don’t think I’ll read any others.
