Note
This tome is presented as a book of rhymes, in part to obscure its blurring of the boundaries between brotherhood, sisterhood, real life, fiction, and the displacement of old ideas with new paradigms. The printed eBook
is an illusion intended to cut through confusion with fun spiritual reading and imaginary coloring book exercises, for all Gentle Readers. The characters may or may not, by coincidence, resemble real or imaginary youths, adults, places, objects, concepts, and leaders. When in doubt, always consider that every word printed and said was completely made up inside the author’s head.
Introduction
... Published Poems for Penny C (and Dan) – from Dennie T (a.k.a., A. Flawed Man) ...
We met Penny and Dan on the Blue Ridge Parkway one lovely fall day as we were making our way through an exploratory adventure, happening to trade stories in a wild, fascinating conversation with a magical clincher. We met at the North Cove Overlook. Our talk, chatting in turns, included discussions of reading and writing books. We confessed to being obsessed and driven to the mountains by Miss Poetry. Penny and Dan, no less fellow fans of the Blue Ridge Parkway, understood us immediately.
What have you published?
they asked. Well that question set off this task for our definition of publishing
was not of the traditional kind: everything we had published by then consisted of works printed
exclusively online.
We had a great conversation and more shall be revealed. In the meantime, this disparate collection is presented under a unifying seal so that we may live up to our word to share the work with Penny and Dan. To them we are grateful for the inspiration and execution of this plan, presented as Published Poems for Penny C. The following are dedicated, therefore and at large, to new friends, and to you, Gentle Reader, from me.
Cheers to all below and above,
Dennie T

A. Social Networking Riffs
We are connected online by zucking faces, twitting birdies, positively engineered circles, *and* chain-linked corporate-like cubes, to represent a few of so many social networks where the people of cyberspace gather to do what they choose: sharing stories, news, thoughts, prayers, and views regarding so many things about.
Well, who knows what one’s friends will shout out? We hold no expectations. We simply witness the situations seen in the diversity of civil *and* uncivil stuff that the peeps post. Sometimes (SMH @friends! LOL!!) there is drivel but there are also the most inspiring things that people relay — perhaps a word, a line, a picture, a joke, a game, a card, a comment, a note, or a quote that makes today become #TodaySOL.
There was a spiritual attack that left us dreary, essentially, as in nearly dead: spinal cord injury where the neck snapped back, collapsed lungs, bodily abrasions, and facial lacerations, with fluid seeping darkly into the brain from damage to the head. We were inspired back from this abyss by life, cutting through this drama of severe trauma with remarkable outcomes fueled by the light of belief in miracles and inspiration from The Loved Ones — including our socially networked friends.
One stanza ends and another begins. We wrote some friendship poems, inspired by the peeps, and published them for Penny C one night before we went to sleep. Deeply reposed in bed, we dreamt of shaking off some other stuff that keeps repeating in our heads,
