Brian has been looking after his ailing Grandma since his father was killed in Iraq and his Grandfather passed away just recently.
As Grandma’s condition worsens, Brian realizes that he can no longer cope and arranges for her to be taken into a Residential Home.
In the early hours of her first morning in care, Grandma takes a turn for the worse and has a horrific nightmare about “insects trying to kill them.”
But was this really what she was dreaming about, considering that her memory now is at best little more than a rough guide to the past?
During her short stay in care, Grandma shares distant memories that not even Brian knew about with staff members; memories that have a devastating effect not only on Grandma, but on Brian as well.
His life will never be the same again. Even worse is that his true identity is also now in question. Who is he really?
What did Grandma keep hidden all those years, and why did she finally decide to tell someone about them 70 years later?
Was she really dreaming about insects, or was it something more sinister with far-reaching consequences?
