From the late seventies to the late nineties I became heavily involved in Fantasy Role Playing and created and ran several extensive, gripping and enjoyable campaigns - some of this can be seen reflected in my novels. Me? I am a mature male, born and raised in the south of England before migrating to New Zealand in 2001. In 2020, I returned to England, after 18 years in New Zealand and Australia. My wife and sons provide a lot of inspiration and support. I write when I have time and when the inspiration takes me. I have many unfinished works, which I hope to make available in time.

      Players Introduction

      You have been summoned, as a group, to the small fishing port of Sansal Dmind by Demaria, a powerful and respected Enchantress. Upon your arrival you are escorted by a small (and somewhat shabby) group of militiamen to her tower, situated on the hill overlooking the port. You are ushered respectfully into a well-furnished and spacious lower chamber "to await her lady’s presence, there are two tables present and each supports wine, ale and fine food and you may partake of some refreshments if you so desire’.

      After twenty minutes or so a beautiful woman enters the room, through an internal wall (Phase Door) and instructs the guards to leave the chamber and guard it from intrusion. Demaria, for it is she, then introduces herself and apologises for detaining you, she then asks for individual introductions.

      After you have introduced yourselves Demaria relates the following:-

      Only a fortnight ago, a richly dressed Elf Warrior, Gelledir, sailed into port on one of their beautiful Swan boats and requested an audience. I granted his request and he showed me a rotten piece of parchment he had discovered within a recently collapsed temple of Odin on the isle of Lasar. The parchment was blood stained and inscribed in a strange tongue which I was luckily able to translate.

      She then hands you a transcription on fresh parchment, which reads:
