Congratulations on joining me on this 30 day Sales Success Challenge.

I’m Gary Gorman and I help small businesses attract more high value customers and grow their sales and profits.

I hope you enjoy the Challenge and really ramp up your sales.

This Challenge is ideal for someone who is new to selling or if you are one of those people who know you need to polish up your selling skills in order to actually still have a business in the future!

By breaking it down into 30 daily challenges I’m confident that you’ll begin to wonder how you ever found it so awkward to sell products or services.

It’s not however a book about aggressive, foot in the door, ‘hard’ selling. That probably belongs to another era to be honest. Thankfully.

It’s about developing a relationship with a potential customer based on mutual benefit. This Challenge will help you become more focused and more persuasive in your customer interactions.

Day One - Introduce Yourself

I want to start this 30 day sales challenge by asking you a quick question:

How do you introduce your business to others?

I want you to think about the last time you introduced your products or services to others, maybe at a networking meeting or perhaps socially.

I’d wager that you said something like:

Hello my name is Phil and I’m an accountant. I’m based just down the road in the town centre and I work with lots of small businesses on their accounts and bookkeeping

Okay..maybe I exaggerate and apologies to any accountants out there (particularly those called Phil!) but I bet you’ve heard something similar to this lots of times from lots of different businesses. In fact, let’s cut to the chase here….are you brave enough to admit that you’ve said similar things?

Well it’s not exactly riveting is it??

Would that make you think ‘Wow I’ve got to speak to Phil to find out more’?

Let’s be truthful…probably not.

But what if he said something like:

"Hello my name is Phil and I help
