The DASH Diet has been through many trials and has been proven to lower your blood pressure and cholesterol. Along with these great health benefits, is another awesome benefit: steady weight loss. Weight Watchers has launched their brand new Weight Watchers 360º Points Plus food eating program, and surprisingly enough their Weight Watchers 360º 2013 diet weight loss plan includes a lot of the healthy eating foods that are included in this awesome DASH Diet Cookbook. Let us take a quick look at cholesterol and see just why it is so important to keep your cholesterol at a safe level in our bodies. It is a proven fact that the underlying problem for both heart attacks and strokes is atherosclerosis. Atherosclerosis will cause the hardening of your arteries. This occurs when the blood vessels become thick and clogged up with extra cholesterol and other substances that cling to the inside of your arteries and prevent good blood flow.
