The Right Can't Win
()
About this ebook
The Left is a world of do-gooders and no matter what the cause, from global warming to saving the salamanders, they have one thing in common. They need a massive, kick-ass, centralized government to accomplish their do-gooder goals. Those on the Right generally want to be left alone and embrace personal responsibility so they don't need a massive Federal government for almost anything save the basics: military, roads, basic safety nets, etc. People that want to be left alone do not move heaven and earth to put themselves into the midst of big government thus as a government grows, the Left grows in proportion to the Right. Finally, the book explores the ONE thing the Right can rally around, if not to win, to at least have a chance in the political world of tomorrow.

Why do endless laws, regulations, and taxes keep winning out over basic freedom and liberty as we move further away from 1791? Why has this new century speeded up the pace in the growth of nanny government? If very few people say they want these endless controls, why is Progressivism hitting full stride in 2013 with President Obama certainly being the Carl Lewis
or Michael Phelps
of this anchor leg?
In terms of the loss of liberty, what’s traditionally been a slow creep (like watching a glacier flow) has now become a progressive Victoria Falls. How did this happen?
If you sit down with almost anyone to get their thoughts on the matter you find that almost no one wants millions of pages of laws written in a legalese no one can understand. People feel they are both over-taxed and over-regulated.
