This story is a prequel to Jasmine Lane's Enchanted Christmas. It described how the adventure of Jasmine Lane all started. It begins with Scotty Knight, Jasmine's best friend, eating a giant marshmallow eyeball with a hidden map inside. They find themselves in the craziest and most bizarre adventure where candy corn can fly, animals can talk, and a cute, friendly troll. They also discover the true meaning of friendship where a group of children from The Village risk their lives to fight a group of wolf-like pack called Sreegallas to help Jasmine and Scotty find their way home.

      Chapter One

      This is how it all started…

      I was six years old and I was so looking forward to Halloween. Due to the bad weather forecast, we almost skipped it that year. All parents in Lincolnshire didn't allow us small children to go wandering outside trick-or-treating. They said it was too dangerous. My friends and I were heartbroken. Then, a week before the big day, Mayor Overton announced that we would keep Halloween alive by celebrating it in The Hall. Although it sounded strange, we were overjoyed.

      I remember that night like it was just yesterday. I stood in front of the mirror and held my breath. I wished Mommy would hurry up and put the crown on my head. I couldn't wait to see what I looked like.

      Keep still, sweetie, said Mommy, placing the shiny, golden tiara on top of my curls. There, see how pretty you look.

      I blinked my eyes a few times. I couldn't believe it. I really did look like Princess Jasmine, my favorite character in the Disney's cartoon, Aladdin. I twirled around and admired my blue top and pants. I ran my fingers down my light blue scarf and golden belt. They even matched my tiara. The year before, I had been Tinkerbell, the little fairy, but this year, I wanted to be Princess Jasmine. It matched my name.

      Mommy placed a golden necklace around my neck. There you go, Your Highness.

      I turned to face Mommy and curtsied. Thank you, Queen Mommy.

      Mommy smiled and curtsied back. You're welcome, Princess Jasmine. Now, let's go find Scotty.

      Scotty lived next door. Earlier that day, his Mommy came over to our house and asked if we could take Scotty to The Hall with us. Mr. and Mrs. Knight had to go out of town that night for work and couldn't take Scotty to the Halloween party. I didn't mind one little bit having Scotty come with us. We had known each other for many years. We were good friends. The bestest friends.

      When Mommy opened the front door, Scotty was sitting on our porch. He wore a white ruffled shirt and long black pants, but they were two sizes too big. When he turned to face me, I froze. He had a black patch covering his left eye.

      I gasped. What happened to your eye, Scotty?

      Scotty pointed at my stunned face and rolled around on the porch, holding his belly. He laughed so hard, tears were streaming down his cheeks. Once he stopped laughing, he yanked the patch down and rubbed his eyes with his hand. See!

      I smacked my forehead. You're dressed up like a pirate.

      Scotty nodded. He stood up and put his eye patch back on. He bent down to pick up his plastic sword, his pirate hat, and a black sack from the porch. Yes, I'm Pirate Scotty!

      I nodded. You really look like a pirate.

      Are Princess Jasmine and Pirate Scotty ready for trick-or-treating? asked Mommy.

      Yes, we said together.

      Chapter Two

      When we got into the backseat of Mommy's car, tiny raindrops peppered the roof and windows. Scotty snuggled up next to me and smiled. I blushed and moved away, but as we got nearer to town, we both got so excited. Though we could barely see outside, we
