About this ebook

This story describes the author's encounter with a higher existence called "THEN". The Dialogues have been written 'as is' and explains the many questions about Life, the Universe and Our role within, channelled by the author.

According to THEN, the Truth is not out there! Truth is there where it always has been... INSIDE YOU!

The 'THEN materials' are an attempt to give answers in a plain, rational way without any endeavors to convert readers into another complexity of religious or new age style of thinking, which would only be a surrogate for the truth inside us.

Here are some issues that were channeled through:

* What is Truth?
* Is there a God, a Devil?
* The sense or non-sense of Life
* What is Reality?
* The concept of Money
* Why are we here?
* The levels of Existence
* The conditions before Creation
* Definitions of Soul, Spirit, Belief, Thought, Source, Games
* Definitions of Space, Energy, Time and Matter
* How do we Materialize our Thoughts?
* What is the Holy Grail, the Philosopher's Stone, the Sleeping Dragon?
* What is the Kundalini, the Holy Ghost, the Breath of Life?
* The Truth about the Holy Scriptures
* Our History... Reality or Illusion?
* Jesus... Did he ever existed?
* Are we Food for Aliens?
* and many more...

But beware, you might find the answers given provocative indeed!

Life can be experienced from a total other point of view, if you'd realize that life itself depends on your beliefs and disbeliefs. Our journey into this world is one that enables us to learn and enjoy the many varieties of life expressed within the boundaries of this universe. To know that you are one of the co-creators, that you have an interactive part in all there is, would stabilize your position as an entity and gives you much more decision power in what to experience in your daily lifetime.

Here are three major reasons why you are here:

* TO LEARN
* TO ENJOY
* TO SHARE

You are NOT here TO SUFFER !

Suffering is a condition derived from lack of information and disorientation of the meaning of life. That does not mean your life will be smooth all the way! "To suffer for a reason is different than to suffer out of ignorance." (THEN)

Suffering can be an integral part of life's experience in order for us to learn. There can be no lessons without accomplishments and therefore "suffering" in that context is part of a human's potential to evolve. It is the other part of suffering based on no valid reason that produces stress and contributes to the many unhappiness endured in the world today.

The 'THEN materials' will try to help you find YOUR answers, and yes... we know that many of you might have lost trust in anyone who could give any answers to these, but we can only ask you to keep an open mind to what THEN has to say.

If you are interested in establishing more awareness and understanding of YOU as a being and LIFE itself, we encourage you to read this book and claim your truth which is your legacy.

Remember... The Truth is not out there! It is there where it always has been... INSIDE YOU!

So if you're a real Truth Seeker, read these materials and unleash the Power of your Inner Self !

The Inner Dialogues - Max De Jong

Word from the Author

I wrote the dialogues just as is, neither to introduce a certain belief system nor to convince people otherwise. It was an urge to express my freedom of speech without the boundaries of traditional belief systems. Call it fiction if you like, and as a side effect of all fiction, you might even recognize possible ideas that would fit into your way of thinking.

I did not write this book to attack the main stream of thinking or even as a parody to the so popular New Age channeling. I wrote the dialogues as a summary of questions I had in this lifetime, answered by a source willing and able to do this entirely for my own satisfaction. But for you... well, that is a whole other story.

According to THEN "the truth is not out there, but there where it always has been ... inside you!" and I realized I have been following this rule probably for a long time, although consciously unaware.

The experience I had was of such magnitude that it was impossible for me to return to my previous way of thinking, for it is said that a mind once expanded can never regain its original dimensions.

I made many notes of which several I did not even publish due to the extreme unorthodox nature of the material. I first have to cope with it myself before being tempted to release them afterwards. The notes I published in this book were not always placed in the order it was given and where I felt appropriate, provided with additional comments in parentheses or brackets for sake of clarity.

It took me almost 30 years to finally decide to come forward and share this experience and received material with others, mainly because I myself considered it too weird to reveal and probably would be resented anyway. On the other hand I noticed an increase in awareness the last years and a cry for answers to basic questions people have been struggling with for many centuries.

This material is an attempt to give the answers in a plain, rational way without any endeavors to convert people into another complexity of religious or new age style of thinking, which would only be a surrogate for the truth inside you.

It was a journey guided by an inner voice I came to know as THEN and I hope your own inner voice will be stimulated to surface after reading this material.

Thomas Dewar once said, Minds are like parachutes. They work best when open, and in that light you are invited to read.

Prologue

The dialogues started in spring, 1975.

Before that took place, I was filled with unanswered questions about the sense and nonsense of life as are so many others I’ve encountered. Only I was determined to get them one way or the other. Many people said I just had to live with it and to accept the things I could not change, but I got furious even thinking about that and stressed my own motto to change that which I could not accept. Suffice to say I was rather obsessed by the idea.

I started to contemplate the original meanings of life, which brought me to create a list of what I really did NOT want. I disciplined myself to get rid of each item on the list, so it would not affect me in blocking things I DID want. And it really changed my point of view, but as a result of that I lost friends and family who no longer seem to ‘fit’ into my reality.

Although it did create a vacuum in my life, I nonetheless kept ongoing until I finished my list of all the items I didn’t want to have or didn’t want to do, finally arriving at the items, which I DID want to do and WANTED to have. The process of reducing unwanted luggage and attracting those things I really felt ‘belonged’ to me, enkindled within me more and more a sense of the person I really am.

This period of self-awareness brought me up to a point that I could face the world around me and to walk my own path, wherever that would lead me. Without hesitation or blocking myself by moral or religious remnants from the past, I indulged in the pleasures of life.

Although I had the time of my life (considered being strictly raised and tightened within a religious society), I nonetheless felt I missed something I was aching for so long..... the answers to questions I carried with me for aeons. So I started to meditate for a while and after that, I decided it was time to make a move…

I took my backpack and hitchhiked my way to wherever the ride took me and eventually stranded in the limestone hills near the Mediterranean’s Gulf of Lion. It was there I would undergo an experience that soon appeared to be my most inspirational moment I have ever encountered.

Note from the author:

The following chapter is obviously a dramatized version of how I made my encounter with THEN. Feel free to skip if you think my narrating went berserk. I only recall a plain fall in a deep cavity where I bumped my head and apparently lost consciousness during the act. However, the voices in my head were as clear as when we were having a conversation.

I consider the circumstances I met THEN not relevant at all, but more the significance of what was said. To me the messages were of such profound nature that it completely turned my life around and that was worth every penny I still had left in my treasury of awareness.

What kind of value it is to you, I don't know. I leave that to your freedom to believe what you deem worth believing. If this material would lift just one veil of your consciousness than I have accomplished my goal. If not... I wish you good health and an exciting journey to wherever your spirit takes you.

If you’d like to read my encounter, then move on, otherwise skip to the next chapter and see what THEN has to say.

Chapter 1: First Encounter

It was a cloudy morning when I woke up. I’d slept in the open, for I’d gotten here too late last night to find a suitable resting place along the dark and winding roads. I had no choice but to roll up in my sleeping bag on one of the hills nearby.

When I opened my eyes the first thing that touched me were the bulky clouds, drifting like wreckage on a blue grayish ocean up in the sky. I shivered and tried to adapt my eyes to the environment that surrounded me. I looked at the small trees in front of me and counted them. I felt the grass beneath me, just long enough to become aware of it. I learned this trick from an old friend to bring you back into present time as quickly as possible, and as usual it did the job. I heard my stomach growling, which was not surprising, for I hadn’t been eating since yesterday afternoon. So I picked up my gear and returned to the road hoping to pick up a lift to the nearby town or roadhouse to satisfy my appetite.

The sun broke through, but nonetheless a biting cold lingered at the hill site on this day, March 18, 1975. I didn’t know the time, for my watch had given up after my last ride, but I figured it should be around 6-7.00 a.m. for the road was awfully quiet… no traffic whatsoever.

When I was speeding up my pace, something on the hill site drew my attention. I noticed an odd pile of rocks that looked like an old fireplace at first sight. I went over there to take a closer look, but it turned out to be more like some kind of an altar. I even found scattered bones on it, but couldn’t determine if it was of animal or human origin. The thought that I was standing near an altar that might have been used for some ritual sacrifice in the past, gave me the creeps and I decided to go back to the road to find a suitable resting place before noon.

I turned around and was just taking a step backward when
