- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5It was an interesting and quick read with a few gems. But the lack of editing made it hard to understand what she was saying several times (lots of punctuation missing, words missing or incorrect words probably because of autocorrect... looks like the small book was written and submitted... not edited first. A quick edit could make this a lot easier to read).
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A LOT of helpful information and applicable tips you can use to change your lifestyle one step at a time!

One of the main problems with our tradition-al western diet is that sugar is almost everywhere and in numerous foodstuffs, making it almost impossible for people who have a sugar addiction to avoid. Whilst sugar addiction isn't regarded as an actual physical addiction it does seem to have a link to an emotional dependence.
The idea of a Sugar Addiction
was initially popularized by Kathleen DesMaisons, PhD, an authority in the psychology of addiction. She explained it as being a measurable occurrence brought on by triggering receptors in the brain. Other studies have established that sugar can work as a painkiller, and that sugar’s side effects can be obstructed with the very same drug treatments that obstruct the effects of morphine.
