EYES AND WINGS

And the four living creatures,

each one of them having six wings,

are full of eyes around and within;

and day and night they do not cease to say,

Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord God, the Almighty,

who was and is and is to come (Revelations 4:8)

Knowledge of a thing is not possession of it! Merely understanding a prophetic revelation that has the potential to produce a holy revolution within the individual, the Church, and the world isn’t enough ... revelation requires activation.

Martin Luther, for example, received a powerful revelation from the Lord, but the revelation itself did not transform Christianity – his actions did. Martin Luther is known as both a Revolutionary and a Reformer because he acted upon the revelation he received and brought a revolution that led to the Reformation.

We need both prophetic revelation (eyes to see) and apostolic action (wings) to propel us toward a prophetic outcome.

In the mid-1990s, Prophetess Stacey Campbell uttered a profound prophetic word during a prayer meeting in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada — a word that impacted me greatly. The following is a summarized and edited version of that word.¹
