I’m ambivalent, in general, about horror. I can read it, I can be affected by it—but I’m a bit of a wimp. I avoid horror movies, for instance, and on the rare occasions when someone has been foolish enough to watch a horror movie in my house, they usually have to watch the last half hour of it without sound.
