      I’m from New York, but I live in Barcelona, Spain for six months.

      Studiuję literaturę hiszpańską i mam wielkie szczęście, że mogę cieszyć się tym doświadczeniem w Hiszpanii.

      I’m studying Spanish Literature and I’m very lucky to enjoy this experience in Spain.

      Ale czasem… dzieją się szalone i zabawne rzeczy, jak ta, którą zamierzam ci dzisiaj wyjaśnić.

      But sometimes… crazy and funny things happen, like the one that I’m going to explain to you today.

      Przyjechałem do Hiszpanii w marcu i zacząłem mieszkać z bardzo przyjaznymi chłopakami i dziewczynami, dzieląc z nimi piękny apartament w centrum miasta.

      I arrived to Spain in March, and I started to live with some very friendly boys and girls, sharing with them a beautiful apartment in the city center.

      Przyjemnie jest żyć w centrum tak pięknego miasta.

      It’s a pleasure to live in the center of such a beautiful city.

      Wszystko jest bardzo blisko, nawet uniwersytet. W domu, w którym żyjemy są czterej współlokatorzy.

      Everything is very close, even the University. In this house we live are four room-mates.

      Sara jest z Sewilli, ma dwadzieścia sześć lat i studiuje architekturę.

      Sara is from Sevilla and she’s twenty-six years old, she studies architecture.

      José jest z Barcelony, ma dwadzieścia lat, studiuje inżynierię i pasjonuje się piłką nożną.

      José is from Barcelona, he’s twenty years old, he studies engineering and he’s passionate about football.

      Wreszcie, Andrea, dziewczyna z południa Francji.

      Finally, Andrea, a girl from the south of France.

      Jej rodzice są Hiszpanami. Ona studiuje reklamę, ale jest również tancerką flamenco.

      Her parents are Spanish, she studies advertising, but she’s also a flamenco dancer.

      Nie uważasz, że są niesamowici? Dogadujemy się bardzo dobrze, a życie z nimi jest naprawdę proste.

      Don’t you think they are incredible? We get along very well and living with them is really easy.

      Znasz Barcelonę? Jest to jedno z największych miast w Hiszpanii i jest położone w północno-wschodniej części kraju.

      Do you know Barcelona? It’s one of the biggest cities in Spain and is located in the Northeast area of the country.

      Jest to miasto nad brzegiem morza, w związku z tym ma to, co najlepsze z wielkiego miasta (dyskoteki, wielkie uniwersytety, sklepy na zakupy, restauracje, muzea), ale również najlepsze z bycia blisko plaży w Hiszpanii (ładną pogodę, morze, setki pięknych plaż).

      It is a city next to the sea, therefore it has the best of a big city (discos, big universities, shops to go shopping, restaurants, museums), but also the best from being close to the beach in Spain (nice weather, the sea, hundreds of beautiful beaches).
