    In the vast Caribbean Sea, pirates Jolly and Griffin are stranded on a tiny island where a peculiar architect is building an enormous bridge -- but to where? Another world? Griffin follows her, until he is trapped by the man in the whale. Princess Soledad has her own plans -- to kill Pirate Emperor Kendrick. But the truly terrifying cannibal king stands in her way. Is Soledad ready to become the new pirate emperor?

      Band 2 der Wellenläufertrilogie erzählt die Geschichte von Jolly und ihren Gefährten weiter. Ab und an beschlich mich dabei das Gefühl, dass die Macher der Fluch der Karibik-Filme diese Lektüre ebenfalls genossen haben ;) Insgesamt nimmt Band 2 mehr Fahrt auf als Band 1 und ist damit ein im posiviten Sinne untypischer Mittelband einer Trilogie.
