The Little Bible Heroes series of books is designed to bring many of the most important stories in the Bible down to a young child’s level. These stories are illustrated using children and childlike people to bring to life these amazing true stories. At the end of each story, children are asked questions about how to apply the principles of the story to their own lives.
 
Noah is a righteous man and obeys God. But the rest of the people on earth are bad. That makes God very sad. God tells Noah to build an ark taller than a three-story building. He tells Noah to bring lots of animals into the ark. Once all of the animals and Noah’s family are in the ark, God makes it rain for forty days and nights. All the bad people are washed away. Noah sends out a dove, and it returns with an olive leaf, which means that there is dry land. Noah, his family, and all of the animals leave the ark. Noah builds an altar to God and gives thanks because He saved their lives. God puts a rainbow in the sky as His promise that He will never again flood the earth.
