      Everyone has a soul, a part deep within them that is connected to something bigger, brighter, and more. More evolved, more Universal, and more aware. This is the part of you that understands why you’re here, what your life is all about, and why things have happened the way they did.

      For most people the idea that they have a soul is just an idea, a mental construct. They don’t feel it on a daily basis, and many have never even felt a moment of this connection their entire lives. But this is what faith is all about, believing in something you can’t see or touch. The more a person is only willing to believe what they can see or touch, the less they will ever be able to experience their own soul. You may not be able to touch your soul with your hands or see it with your eyes, but you can experience it within yourself if you are willing to go beyond the limitations held in your mind.

      The mind is incredibly limited. Logic can be a prison filled with pre-conceived beliefs and rigid thought patterns. Your soul is found through the thread of your consciousness, which is a link that can take your awareness past the limited thoughts held in your mind.

      There is a part in everyone that wants to keep their soul at a distance, their own ego. People lie to themselves (…as soon as they start dating me they’ll stop drinking and grow up…) and make bad choices all the time. No one’s ego wants their conscience speaking up and reminding them of what they’re really doing. People don’t really want to be good all the time, they just want to be good some of the time. And they don’t want the equivalent of a strict parent in their
