tolen Identity by Lisa Harris held promise for me at the beginning but as the pages went on, it was harder and harder for me to read.Maybe my expectations were just too high. I do love mysteries and thrillers. I really think that this author has a lot of potential, the dialogue was good and the book held my attention at the start. I really believe that she could write a better book. The worst thing for me about this book was amount of writing to formula. I think the book would have been so much better if there was no love interest, just the woman with the child as the victim. Also there were a lot of generalizations in this book about identity theft. I would have liked it so much more if the author researched the topic much more. That would have added so much interest to this book.Since the author did relatively OK, I would like to read something else by her if it was not in the Love Inspired Suspense Group. It may be that she was just following the guidelines carefully.I wouldn't recommend this book but I am interested in what else this author has written
