Sleep

Sleep: It affects every area of our lives, and every area of our lives affects our sleep. It is something we are all so familiar with and yet so many choose not to prioritize it.

Over the years, I have met hundreds of people who have difficulty sleeping well at night and do not feel energized during the day, getting just enough hours of okay sleep to manage every day.

I know what this is like because for years I struggled with creating a balance between sleeping enough quality hours and enjoying my life as much as possible during the day. I would stay up late, go out and party, live on coffee, sugar and not-so-nutritious food to get through the day, skipping on sleep whenever it suited me and my lifestyle. I gained weight, developed psoriasis and acne, and ended up burning myself out to the point when I would wake up to a bleeding nose in the middle of the night.

All of this by the time I was 25.

After the wake-up call, I found ways to turn my life around one step at a time, transforming my body, my mind and even my soul to find more peace with who I really am. I realized that sleep (lack of or too much of it) was the missing foundation to the healthy, balanced and more fulfilling life that I had always wanted to achieve. Quality hours of refreshing, nourishing and recharging sleep had to be part of it and it also had to fit into my naturally night owl lifestyle.

My name is Beatrix A Schmidt and I am a Health and Well-Being Consultant.

I help and support professionals in their 30s and 40s to live healthy and productive lives through the power of sleep. In exchange they get to elevate their success, build more meaningful relationships and become a fully independent version of themselves.
