    •Caron One Pound medium (worsted) weight acrylic yarn (16 oz/812 yds/454g per skein):

    2 skeins #10514 off-white

    1 skein each #10511 taupe and #10523 azure

    •Size I/9/5.5mm crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge

    •Tapestry needle

    Gauge

    12 sts = 4 inches; 5 rows in pattern = 2¼ inches

    Pattern Notes

    Refer to Stitch Diagram as needed.

    Leave an 8-inch length of yarn at the beginning and end of each color section to be worked into fringe.

    Chain-3 at beginning of round counts as double crochet unless otherwise stated.

    Join with slip stitch as indicated unless otherwise stated.

    Afghan

    Row 1 (RS): With azure, ch 187, dc in 4th ch from hook (beg 3 sk chs count as a dc), dc in each rem ch across, turn. (185 dc)

    Row 2: Ch 1, sc in each of first 2 sts, *tr in next st, sc in next st, rep from * across to last st, sc in 3rd ch of beg 3 sk chs, turn.

    Row 3: Ch 1, sc in each st across, turn.

    Row 4: Rep row 2.

    Row 5: Ch 3 (see Pattern Notes), dc in each st across, turn. Fasten off azure.

    Row 6: With WS facing, join (see Pattern Notes) off-white in first st, ch 3, dc in each st across, turn.

    Rows 7–105: [Rep rows 2–6 consecutively] 19 times, then rep
