They come in various weight size, are round and shapee like a cannon. They have the loop on the top for easy grip, and the larger the kettlebell, the heavier the weight. The weight range of kettlebell varies from 4 pounds to over 150 pounds. Most kettlebells have both kilogram and pound markings on them.

    Kettlebells used to be one piece of metal, and the older models were completely round with no flat bottom. Today, you can get kettlebellspainted in different colors or coated in plastic. Most today have a flat bottom to make them easier to store.

    How Are kettlebells different from dumbbells?

    While dumbbells and kettlebells are both free weights, it is the design of the kettlebell that ultimately makes it more effective. Working out with the kettlebell engages more muscles because of the way the weight hangs down completely below the kettlebell handle. This actually provides much more intensity and a better full body workout.
