About this ebook
When a valuable fraction goes missing, George Cornelius Factor (a.k.a. GCF) vows to track it down. Knowing that the villainous Dr. Brok likes to disguise his ill-begotten fractions, GCF invents a Reducer—a tool that strips away the disguise, reducing the fraction and revealing its true form. Equal parts of action and humor add up to a wholly entertaining introduction to simplifying fractions.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Stress will be relieved from students when they read this book and realize fractions can be fun! In this modern fantasy, Mr. Factor is on the hunt to solve the mystery of this missing 5/9, but he must use his Reducer to find the fraction. This book is appropriate for intermediate readers.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This is a cute math book. It teaches kids about fractions and lowest terms. It also teaches them a little bit of detective work in the process. We all love a book with a happy ending.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I thought this story was fun. The character in the story collects fractions and was looking to get a new fractions which was 5/9. He had to go to an auction to get this rare fraction. The fraction was stolen from the auction so he went off looking for it. He found the person who stole it was able to receive the fraction he wanted. I think this story was a good read and I think children would enjoy it. The story is very wordy so I think it would be appropriate for an older child.
