Why Roll With Android?
Over the past few years, Android has gone from being a major player in the smart phone arena to being utterly dominant. According to idc.com, Android Phones held a 76.6% market share in shipments for quarter 4 of 2014. Devices running Google's Android OS have caught the world's eye and have made it hard to justify using the other brands out there in many cases.
Integration with Other Google Technologies
There's a very good chance that you already use Google search, browse online with Google Chrome, watch videos on YouTube, have a Gmail account, backup some of your precious files on Google Drive, or all of the above. It's not a secret that when it comes to the internet, Google technologies are very popular due to what they offer. Google has taken the liberty of integrating a large number of their applications and services by building into the Android system by default. Of course, you don't have to use them if you don't want to but I've found them to be fantastically helpful in getting me what I want
