Caring Crochet - Annie's
A Note From the Editor
If you want to lift yourself up, lift up someone else.
—Booker T. Washington
Research has shown that the old adage It’s better to give than to receive
is true after all. The positive feelings we experience when helping others is the greatest feeling in the world. It gives us a sense of purpose and makes us feel happier and more satisfied about life in general.
In most of our communities, we all have friends and neighbors who are dealing with stress of some kind, be it cancer, Alzheimer’s, single parents, moving loved ones into a nursing home or premature babies.
With careful thought, we have created this special book, Caring Crochet, to add a touch of beauty and comfort to the lives of others less fortunate.
In sharing our time and talents with others by small acts of kindness, the rewards will be many for everyone involved.
Happy stitching,
Connie Ellison
