This book discusses as well the insect anti-feeding substances contained in plant leaves, which are widely surveyed by monitoring with leaf-disc test. The final chapter deals with the biological tests necessary for investigating the biochemical and toxicity effects of pesticides to individual species in the plant and animal kingdom. This book is a valuable resource for environmentalists, residue chemists, residue analysts, toxicologists, and official crop protection experts.
