    The major fears of modern man can be boiled down to two things: too much e-mail and getting fat, Timothy Ferriss flippantly told Clive Thompson of Wired magazine during a 2007 pre-interview conversation. While originally a joke, the concept stayed with Ferriss and contributed even more to an obsession he’s had since he was 18 years old.

    Ferriss is a serious number cruncher and self-proclaimed guinea pig. Besides his business and time-management focus, he is also interested in how to get the most from his body.
