Introduction
How to Write: 5 Easy Steps to Improve your Writing
I’ve been a writer ever since I can remember. Writing has always been close to my heart. I find writing very easy, and I’ve spent thirty years doing it. By now, you may have come across either my website, www.malcolmhughes.com, or some of my other books, such as How to be Creative: 5 Easy Steps to Boost your Creativity. If you have, you might have read my short bio. I’m going to tell you a little bit more about that, because every writer has his or her own story about how they came to be a writer and I’d like to share mine with you.

The structure of a screenplay is very regimented; it clearly delineates the lines of the next speaker and does not show what the speaker is thinking. People who buy and sell screenplays know this, of course. But for someone like me, someone completely new to writing, its structure was completely new. The more I studied the screenplay, the more something strange and wonderful grew in my mind. I started to develop
