Why Do I Feel Depressed? - Gabriel Vaughn
Introduction
It can be especially tough on love ones, let alone children of somebody with Depression as it could influence their outlook on life for many years to come. Having actually experienced this myself, I can say absolutely that this the number one reason among many to combat your Depression.
Work - Work life typically suffers when in the throngs of Depression. It is more hard to focus and not as simple to produce and maintain excellent professional working relationships and partnerships. It makes being a self-starter
less likely.
Love - The love life of a person with Depression can suffer tremendously. Regardless of how much someone could profess their devotion to another, if the other person can never ever see the bright side, it can wear on them. Life is short after all.
Health - University studies have proven that friends who are depressed are more likely to get ill, and most likely to die of a disease than those who are happy. It is in your advantage, health wise, to fight your Depression.
Success - The depressed individual often does not have clarity of thought, and could miss golden opportunities to improve their lives if only they had actually been paying attention. This could be the most important point, given that many individuals think they would be happier if only this part of their life, or that part of their life, etc was different. Permitting great things to take place in your life might just provide you the jump start required to end the cycle of Depression and self imposed-isolation.
