About this ebook
Lost lands, dreams, and those who walk between them are the topics of eleven poems of fantasy and horror that explore worlds that we might see with eyes set free from the bonds of the everyday. Four poems speak of Plato's lost continent, of its fall, and of its fate at the hands of judgmental gods. Other poems speak of the deceptiveness of the gods, of the determination of wanderers, and of the courage of those who fight against the fall of final darkness. The last two poems pay homage to great poets of imagination: William Butler Yeats and H. P. Lovecraft. Follow where they lead. Leave land's safety and set sail on misty argosies of dream.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
ATLANTIS
RISING beyond the sunset’s pillars,
A land of beauty amid the waves
Becomes the home of those who gain
From heaven blessings of peace and wealth.
A dawn of hope reveals Atlantis.
ITS KINGS at first in wisdom honor
Justice to give their people safety,
Freedom from fear of neighbors who scheme,
Or foes who come from afar in arms,
To seize the fruit of hands that have made
From wood and stone a city of light.
Its harbors can barely contain the ships
That threaten to sink beneath the weight
Of cargos that fill all hands with gold.
THE LAND has reason to be content.
Enough, however, can start to seem
Too little to eyes that glance aside
At neighbors who flaunt their much and more.
BEGUILED by envy, the just become
Obsessed with having the
