- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This is an example book that explains conjunction in great details. If I was a teacher who was teaching on conjunction, I would use this book as part of a lesson. The pictures explains the words very well. I also like the characters in the book and how they demonstrate conjunction. Love this book! Will use in the future, going to purchase very soon!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I think that this is a good book to learn about conjunctions. I like that the author used a different color font for each conjunction. For example, the word "so" is written in green and the word "but" is written in orange. The colors help to highlight and differentiate the different types of conjunctions that exist. Also, I like that the author included a definition in the beginning of the book next to the title page. The author writes, "Conjunction: A word that joins together sentences, phrases, and words." This is helpful because it provided me with a definition and built background knowledge before I began to read. The main idea of this story is that using conjunctions can improve writing by linking two ideas in order to make a sentence more complex.
