      1 IT'S A MIND GAME

      Pitching baseball is one of the ultimate one-on-one experiences in sports... it demands both fine concentration and broad awareness. Unlike other positions in this game - where instant reflex is required to respond to action... pitchers create action and have time to plan the batter’s failure. Pitchers who just throw the ball can throw great and still lose the game! By the same token, you can throw lousy and still pitch a winner... mental sharpness is the difference... it’s called having your head in the game.
