      For years I have spent thousands of dollars buying lotions and creams for my family.  At one point, I must have had a dozen face creams, hand lotions, and body lotions in my house!  Every family member had a different skin type and scent preferences.  It was so expensive!

      Every time I tried a new lotion, I knew someone would get a skin irritation or other allergic reaction.  Finally, my doctor explained that commercial lotions and creams were loaded with chemicals!  The preservatives, artificial coloring, and chemical additives were making my family sick.  If that wasn’t bad enough, the lotions were costing us a lot of money too!

      The doctor suggested I explore the idea of making my own, organic lotions at home.  I did a little research and tried a number of ingredients.  I discovered two important facts.  First, lotion making is easy!  With a few simple, natural ingredients I made face, body, and hand creams that were appropriate for every family member’s skin type.  No more allergic reactions!  I also discovered that I could make creamy, silky, luxurious lotions for a small fraction of what commercial lotions cost.  I saved a lot of money!

      My only regret is that I waited so long to start making my own lotions.  These recipes are simple to make, smell and feel great, and cost just a few dollars to create.  I make these lotions for my family and friends.  They even make wonderful gifts!  My family loves them and so will you.
