    I am not a fan of the low-carb or low anything dieting trends; I just need to get that off my chest right off the bat. I tend to eat mostly fresh fruits and vegetables as it is and I never measure portions or count calories. That works fine for me because my mostly clean diet is balanced with an insane workout schedule. The rest of my family eats differently than I do. I have several very dear friends who are either eating gluten free or low carb. These recipes are mainly for them or because of them, but I will admit, I love most of these as well. I only eat beef and/or red meat on weekends, and a burger usually sounds outrageously delicious by then. Through the week, I stick with leaner meats or vegetarian meals- and I have burgers at the ready for those days as well. Sometimes you just don't have the time, patience or even the mental capacity to handle cooking a more involved meal. For me, whipping a burger up and either frying it in the skillet, grilling it or even baking one is just mindless enough to keep me from giving in to take out food.

    You will find that most of these are just basic burgers- ground meat, a few spices and you are off to the races. Some are a little bit more complex including some that use a combination of meats. There is a little something for everyone here so get ready to dive into the delicious world of burgers of every kind.
