Hard to take a language-learning book about grammar seriously when the author uses such poor English grammar. Clearly English is not his first language, no shame in that. But maybe hire an editor or proofreader to correct and improve the presentation? The explanations are so complicated and academic, it almost seems like the author wants to convince the reader that the material is too hard for a regular person to grasp.

The text formatting's a complete and total disaster.

Multiple sentences in the first ten pages alone being written without spaces would be substandard by 1998 standards, let alone 2018.
