Strength Training - Rodney Moreno
Introduction
When it comes to your health, all doctors can agree that you need to eat right and exercise. Eating right is one part of the equation. You need to learn about carbs, calories, sugars, portions and much more. After you have this down you need to focus on the exercise portion of the equation. This is where many people get confused and start doing the wrong thing.
When people exercise they have the preconception that the faster they work out, the harder they work out and the more they do, the more results they will receive. Many people believe that cardio activity is the solution to everything.

Then you have the tortoise who takes his time doing what needs to be done in order to get where it is going. This is strength training.
When you strength train you are conditioning your body for the long haul. You are setting the foundation in which you will build your muscles and tone your body. When you do cardio, you are working on losing the weight but that only remains effective for a short period of time. Soon you will burn yourself out before burning off the fat.
