      Introduction

      We live in a world where we need to have information at our fingertips.  We have lists upon lists of things that we need to get accomplished and we need to have this information at a moments notice.  Since the early 1980’s technology and the introduction of the Internet has grown by leaps and bounds.  We now have devices so small that they will fit in the palm of our hands and still have room for other objects.  We have been able to compress data and information to the point that it can travel to us in an instant.

      Back in the early 1960 there were television shows depicting how the future would turn out.  In these shows you saw robots performing tasks for humans.  You saw people being cured with a wave of a mechanical device and so much more.  As advancements continue to expand and grow so does what we do with this technology. 

      One of the most recent additions to the technology family is a free service on the Internet known as Evernote.  Evernote is an online resource where you can go and store your information and retrieve it at a moments notice.  With Evernote you have the power to store text, videos, audios, links and content from web sites and much more. 

      Through the pages of this book we will explore the Evernote program and all it can do.  We will also give you situations and scenarios that you can use to add Evernote as a part of your life.  When you complete this book you will have a foundational understanding of what Evernote is and what it can do.  We will explore different ideas to use Evernote and some of the add-on’s that will make your life and your work easier.
