Nail Fungus Myths and Cures - Brian Gibson
Introduction: What is Nail Fungus
To help the reader understand what nail fungus is, it is a disease which develops under the nail of a human body. What happens is that a whitish layer begins to appear underneath the nail which could be any nail present on the foot or hand. The layer surrounds and veils the whole texture of the nail.
This layer is, in fact, the fungus itself. This kind of disease is considered infectious and may go on to affect other nails on either foot. Though fungus developing on nails isn’t painful, you may begin to think that it is only making your nails look bad, but that is not true. The damage, as it will be thoroughly explained later, goes to the cellular level where it is impossible for the human eye to spot anything wrong. This may sound dangerous, and it is. In its initial stages, the fungus will only appear to be a change on the nail. It can cause changes in the texture of the nail, but with the passage of time, the nail only acts as a gate to let the infection enter the
