About this ebook
This book aims to provide birders especially beginners with as guide to be able to identify species without much difficultly in the field. All the information included in this edition was collected during five years of research experience with Frontier-Tanzania, Nature Kenya, College of African Wildlife Management, Mweka and Royal Society for Protection of Birds (RSPB). In most cases this information enables the species to be identified by size, plumages, voice, habit, habitat and shape or colour or length of legs and beaks. Also this book shows that many birds? species plumage variations, body size, body outgrowth and behavioural display could be quite marked as a result of age and the sex of the species.
