The Natural 7-Day Liver Cleansing Diet To Reverse A Fatty Liver, Revitalize Your Health & Lose Weight Fast

The liver is a large, reddish-brown fleshy organ situated on the right-hand side of the body. The liver is divided into two sections; the right lobe and the left lobe. It is enclosed in the rib cage and sits above the gall bladder. Apart from being an organ, it's also a gland since it secretes useful hormones such as bile juices.

The liver has numerous functions in the body. It assists other organs involved in digesting, absorbing and processing of food. However, the main function of the liver is to filter blood. It is also responsible for removing toxic substances from the body by breaking them down into harmless substances process known as detoxification. Detoxification is a process whereby the liver secretes enzymes that convert toxins such as fatty acids into less harmful substances that are eliminated as urine.
