What is Quiz?

The word quiz or the origin of the word is not fully clarified. The term is presumably derived from latin qui es, which means what kind of person you are. Another theory states that the latin word quis, which means who, is the origin of the word. Since these two theories are most likely the true one, it is predominantly agreed that the word quiz were derived from one or both of the latin words. As time goes by, As time goes by, it has developed into its modern form, which we widely use in present. However, we cannot exclude the possibility that the word derive from another undiscovered vocabulary, such as the English words to quiz somebody, although it is somehow ridiculous. In the term quiz, trick questions could emerge from these contexts.

The word quiz is often translated as trivia or quiz game, or used directly in the game shows instead. Fun is one of the fundamental factors in most of the game shows. Players gained enjoyable moments in the trivia game,.In general, teamwork and cooperation were involved, but a sense of competition and the desire to win and prove one's talent and power can also be oberserved in the events. Like any other competitions, these depend on the attitude of each participants

Basically, there is a quizmaster responsible for posting the questions and adding the points up. The quizmaster also acts as an arbitrator, when an Interpretation is needed to clarify whether the question is really wrong, and objective review and judgment over unclear answers are required.

Apart from the quizmaster, those who answer the questions are called quizzer. If there are more than one participants, they have to give the correct answer as quick as possible.

Quizzers must answer the questions individually or collectively with their teammates. In many times, time plays an important role. Therefore, the right answer must be given as quick as possible. If only a limited time.is allocated for one single answer, the quizzer has to answer as
