Lucifer’s Liars made that same overreach with California Senate Bill 277 forcing mandatory vaccinations on all schoolchildren, regardless of their parents’ personal or religious beliefs. They didn’t need to force this tiny minority of California parents to submit to Totalitarian Inoculation, no more than Hitler needed to open a second front to invade the Soviet Union. They just couldn’t stop at injecting almost 98% of the state’s schoolchildren with a toxic, viral brew.

Their Medical Moloch demanded more infant deaths and injuries. That stone idol gazes towards the unborn, while its psychopomps wave hypodermic needles, preaching vaccines for pregnant mothers. ‘The science is clear they cry’, since only suppressed studies show harm, they are perfectly safe for fetuses.

Only those already too immune damaged from previous medical treatment will be granted exemption. The Medical Orthodoxy accomplished the goal of their gospel, promising perfect prevention if all children are jabbed.

Next, all adults, known reservoir of sin and disease, enormous market of fearful, aging patients, will be mandated for injected sacraments to prevent what ails Americans. The Science is Clear they cry, standing in the middle of the Big Muddy. Prophets of Profits Uber Alles.

The Medical/Religious Complex is not just an analogy, it is an argument for separation of Church and State and Freedom of Choice in Health Care. United States Supreme Court Justice Hugo Black ruled that the First Amendment prohibits governments from passing laws that aid one religion, aid all religions or prefer one religion over another in 1947.

Doctors will cry that their century old scientific medicine is not a religion, but the evidence presented in my Medical Monopoly series, proves that most medical facts and practices are based on faith and dogma. Their worship of received Scientific Truth is built on an edifice of fraud, superstition and generational tenets accepted without skeptical inquiry.

Mandatory Vaccination = Totalitarian Inoculation is a legal writ shot at the chink in the scaled armor of the Medical Monopoly. Freedom of Choice extends to Health Care Choices, whether they salute the Emperor’s statue or not. We are the fringe that shook the altar cloth.

The seed for this book was a 4/9/2014 San Francisco Chronicle op-ed by Steve Heilig, a Center for Disease Control (CDC) trained epidemiologist, according to his online bio. Heilig called for public shaming of parents who exempt their school age children from mandatory vaccines. Most exempting parents prefer to fly under the radar, because we know other parents and adults hold irrational beliefs about vaccine effectiveness and safety.

These beliefs seem impervious to credible evidence and logic, and can’t even be pried out of their cold, dead hands. They ignore, deny or discredit information or people they disagree with. Their beliefs are fixed from decades of medical propaganda and/or economic incentives. They’re not open to reason because the vaccine issue is an existential fear.

This call for public shaming of parents who know vaccines are neither safe nor effective, was an opening volley in a coordinated attack on parents’ rights In California over the next year. This war culminated in the passage of a state bill prohibiting mandatory school vaccinations from being exempted due to parents religious or personal beliefs in 2015.

Parental exemptors are a tiny minority, less than 3% statewide, so they must have thought we were the perfect scapegoats. Statistically, we’re more educated and politically independent than vaccine opters, not the easy victims they imagined. The battle to overturn that bill is ongoing and is covered in this 2018 edition.

This op-ed was reprinted in the Bolinas Hearsay News two weeks later, which angered me enough to come out of the exemptor closet in in that paper. The Hearsay is a hyperlocal broadsheet published thrice weekly since the 1970’s. My first public argument against mandatory vaccinations since I’d become a parent, didn’t have many legs beyond the hundred or so regular readers of the BHN, but they were in my community. This is one of those crazy clusters where one fourth of school district children were exempted.

My refutation was evidence based, and only obliquely referred to the author as a medical ethicist, because Heilig also edits a Medical Ethics journal, (even thinner than Business Ethics rags) in addition to being a part time editor at the BHN. Heilig rabidly bit back in the Hearsay at my oblique critique two days later.

His article describing Steven [sic] Simac as arrogant and delusional mostly made ad hominem attacks. They contained more false claims beside his original op-ed cluster. I rebutted all of them in a series of BHN articles over the next year. I’ve compressed those debates into the last chapter for entertainment purposes.

My fear that vaccination dissenters are branded as dangerous kooks had kept me silent as a parent for more than a decade, while using the philosophical belief option to protect our child from mandatory vaccines. Silence only equals assent to Totalitarian Inoculationists working to abolish Freedom of Choice and informed consent.

I was seeking work in my field of health education, and publicizing my decade long opus, Save Trillions with Universal Health Careon reforming health care. That book had a section about ineffective and hazardous flu vaccines, but mainly focused on other major medical problems Americans suffer from, how to heal them with healthy habits and transform conventional medical treatment into real health care.

I’d stayed away from the vaccine debate since writing two articles in the 1990’s for The Coastal Post, a Marin County newspaper with an appetite for controversial subjects. I’d avoided the grassy knoll of vaccine debate to shield my family and career as a health educator from taint with the anti-vaxx broad brush applied to parents who won’t subject their children to toxic and hazardous brews. Being branded as vaccine heretic may sabotage my strategic plan to tranform ObamaCare into an affordable, effective universal health care system. However, that’s a long shot, especially with Republicans in charge, although the strategy outlined in that book is non-partisan. They would both hate it.

Spurred on by being insulted by Heilig, I dove back into the abyss of vaccine information available on-line, and in print. At that time, there weren’t as many videos as have appeared since then on-line and in film festivals (when not banned). As I learned more about the proven hazards and ineffectiveness of vaccines in my extensive research, I felt a responsibility to warn other parents with this book. As my paper pile of vaccine research grew, I wrote letters to editors and reporters, Hearsay articles and op-eds for other local publications with more urgency after the introduction and highly publicized campaign to pass CA Senate Bill 277, banning parental choice in exempting their child from mandatory vaccinations. The bill was introduced in the California Senate to capitalize on the Disney Measles Mania erupting over the 2014/15 Christmas New Years holidays.

Local newspapers were publishing a steady barrage of vaccine propaganda almost daily during the runup and passage of this bill, but all refused to publish my evidence based rebuttal, except for the Hearsay News. Stories breathlessly reported the bill’s progress as it wended its way through the CA legislature and to the governor’s desk, where Jerry Brown signed it into law. Reporters and editorials repeatedly made exaggerated safety claims without evidence and denied harms that have been proven. They ignored all of 2014’s myth busting vaccine news to further their agenda to eliminate vaccine exemptions.

Publishing in the Bolinas Hearsay News was like yelling from a narrow well, safely contained with minimal audience. It was obvious that this debate was bigger than the Hearsay. My family agreed that informed opposition was more important than fear based isolation once the War started. I began writing letters to state representatives, local media and public health officials opposing this bill and challenging their fact free claims with vaccine facts.

This can be effective if enough participate, even if mine received little response. The more letters submitted from different people on a subject increases chances one will be printed. Politicians rate a letter like a hundred phone calls and a thousand e-mails, but a hefty campaign contribution trumps all. That is one purpose for this book, to allow readers to cut and paste from its digital content to succinctly fight back against the tsunami of vaccine myths.

It is censorship when two local editors said they didn’t have time to fact check Four Fears, one of the short chapters in this book I submitted as an op-ed. Both papers routinely printed letters and opinions with unfounded claims for vaccines, and have published dozens of my letters and several op-eds on other topics. One editor wrote that this is a life or death issue, but couldn’t be bothered to make an internet search for accuracy. Editors, like most people tend to credulously support what they agree with and discredit or ignore what they don’t. At least they were put on record that informed opposition is reading and responding.

My only public outlet for this debate has been the BHN, emails to reporters and this book. Mandatory Vaccination = Totalitarian Inoculation was first published in 2015. This 2018 edition has been significantly revised, with information added to bring it up to date as I have continued to research and follow the debate. I’ve published some essays on Facebook with a dozen or so comments. Most weren’t positive or informed. I’m not convinced that social networks are that useful as an educational tool. For those who are, please use this information freely for personal posts, letters to the editor, reporters, officials, comments on posts or making points in debates and conversations. We’ll have to swarm together to change the public conversation with informed debate.

This book is my contribution to that debate to sway public opinion about Mandatory Vaccinations. I have explored the labyrinth of vaccine information out there, woven Ariadne’s silken string into a web of essential information distilled from reading thousands of pages of books, news articles, scientific studies and pro and con advocacy websites.

It will provide ammunition for dissenters willing to speak or write publicly in support of the right to Freedom of Choice in Health Care for themselves, their children and even for those who choose to vaccinate. We are not trying to take away their right to inject; the burden of proof is on their attempt to take away our right to refuse a dangerous and ineffective product.

This information is too important to sit on or limit readership because of fear and reputation. The pile of papers accumulated so rapidly that standing on it as a free citizen lifted me out of the hyperlocal well into this self published book. It’s sized and priced to reach a larger audience, (with an expanded e-book for references) than the BHN.

Those who prefer to cling blindly to medical myths will ignore or discredit dissenters, no matter how credible or logical. This book is meant to support opposition in the ongoing public debate by providing accurate spear points to pierce the arguments of Totalitarian Inoculationists like hot air balloons.

Even our local school board voted in support of this bill, despite the fact that it might prevent one fourth of their students from attending school at that time. They had obviously never read my BHN vaccine series, even though one member is an editor, while the board chairman is a frequent contributor. That was disappointing, compounding my frustration over public ignorance that drove me to write this book.

I don’t expect to convince any vaccine true believers. They will ignore or attempt to discredit the information, my sources or myself. MV=TI is for open-minded observers and fervent heretics searching for concise arguments, who want reliable evidence, logical deductions and convincing talking points for this public opinion war. Please use them to inform and persuade people to stand up for Freedom of Choice.

It is a war, and we have to fight strategically and intelligently. Since vaccines lower IQ, we have that on our side. We have to be willing to come out of the closet and organize to defend our right to Freedom of Choice in Health Care for our children and future children. We need our talking points, our experts, and our killing spike. Only you can overcome your fears with knowledge and stand up for Freedom to make informed health care choices.
