In The Beginning
This book is a guide to prepare you of what to expect and detailing a few circumstances of being a Landlord. Your job being a Landlord requires patience, keen perception, fix-it skills and the ability to say NO in the times of a tenants’ personal crisis. (I know that sounds cruel but you’ll read what I mean) You must be able to keep calm when your rent is not paid on time. You should have a very detailed lease. (Late charges, fees, pet charges) Read it more than twice to make sure everything you need in writing is established, in case of legal inconveniences
. There will be a time where Biblical phrases arise in your mind, for example, God help, Patience of Job, Peace be still
. There will be some tense moments depending on the situation. Everyone’s personality is not the same. Being a Landlord is not always about the Benjamin’s
