What can we do to help restore a balance?

Introduction

Since the beginning of human history, stories have been told to pass down the memories and experiences of ancestors long gone into the past. Forces ambitious for control have manipulated these stories, myths and legends to create an illusion that hides the truth about the state of humankind. Maintaining this illusion keeps you in a passive state of domestic toil, in a state of subservience and easily managed by the trinity of elite empires of power that worship the ‘God’ and control this world.

This is not a light-hearted romp through the pages of time or meant to be an answer for every question, but a guide to prompt you to take a look at what you have accepted as the truth presented to you by schools, churches, books, TV, the World Wide Web or whatever source you were educated by.

Through education we can change the world even if we are just changing our view of it.

It is often said that if we are not happy with the world then we must do something about changing ourselves because it is only by changing ourselves that we can change the world since WE are the world (WORLD derives from Wer = man + Auld = age; literally ‘The Age of Man’).

All you need to do is change your mind and what is in it, then tell others about what you have found.

This book was written to help break through the illusions and is to be used as a reference for further research, which can open up a much wider view of the reality around us. My intention is not to say what is and expect you to believe it, but to prompt you in to taking a look and find more connections for yourself.

The one who creates the illusion exists where you would least expect it. It has many names but it is an adversary that is sometimes too close to see.

This is a journey of discovery that started with an imagined prehistory, a possibility of harmony, and is dedicated to helping those who want to look beyond the illusion.

The acquisition of a new truth is like the acquisition of a new sense, which renders a man capable of perceiving and recognising a large number of phenomena that are invisible and hidden from another, as they were from him originally. Chemise Briefe, Justus von Liebig 1803-1873.

Please Note:

To piece together the threads and clues presented in this book it is essential to read through this book at least three times. This book is like the skeleton of a body and designed to be used in conjunction with dictionaries, encyclopaedias, libraries and the Internet to add the flesh. Reference sources are mentioned throughout the book to assist in searching.

To keep this book small and affordable I have not included a bibliography or index, all you have to do is research the words in bold type. If you come to a dead end don’t worry, be patient and the answer will come when you least expect it.

Harmony

When the people of ancient times looked upwards to the sky, they saw two great celestial bodies appearing to be exactly equal in size, the Sun and the Moon and many points of light. Like us, they probably stood and stared at the beauty and wonder of the vast expanse of mystery above them.

The Sun followed them during the day, giving warmth and light and consistent companionship even though it receded each year as the cold of winter came. At night the Moon opened and closed like an eye over the month thirteen times a year. Humans realised that the Moon had a close connection with the tides, the bleeding cycles of women, the fertility of the soil and the growth of plants. Looking down they saw and felt the Earth and the surrounding abundant life that nourished, sheltered and healed them.

In their small bands without the rules and expectations of imperialistic societies they were probably in their natural state of being childlike with strong family bonds and affection for the parents who nurtured and taught them the ways of survival. As the young ones grew older, the Earth would eventually take back their parents and leave them with memories and a sense of longing for their loved elders.

Life was a cycle of change, but some things stayed constant and reliable and were always there for them. Like immortal parents, the Earth, the Sun and the Moon stayed with them, giving all the food, shelter, medicine and materials that they needed to keep their species alive.

This natural trinity of the Sun, Moon and Earth was like the three-legged stool that remained upright and stable as long as all three legs remained equal. Each of these three had their own role to play in supporting life with their own characteristics and influences. Early people recognised the power specific to each one of this trinity

This balanced trinity gave humans life, and humans knew that the trinity would take back what it gave to continue its natural cycles. This would have been the understanding of the exchange and it would have been respected, as life was respected. However things changed for humans; wisdom came only to be conquered by the knowledge and illusion of the Moon.

Loss of Innocence

The Illusion may have started with the humanisation of the forces of nature. A major cultural shift occurred in Europe (around 4000 BC) from a system of worshipping the Earth Mother and no gods, to worshipping a number of humanlike gods and goddesses headed by a father figure as a sky god with his consort. This change seems to be mainly due to invasions from the cannabis-using Kurgan/Scythian/Centaur Aryan nomadic horse-mounted tribes from the Black Sea. The Aryans also migrated East to the lands of India.

It seems that these militant tribes worshipped the aggression and physical power of the Father figure and the wealth of the imperialistic society. The symbol of the Scoloti, Royal Scythians and Sarmatians was the Dragon.

According to Greek legend Hercules mated with a beautiful Dragon Queen (Sarmata) who bore two sons. Hercules left his bow and told her that one boy will be strong enough to draw the bow; this one became the father of the Scythian race.

Around the same time, agricultural societies of absolute matriarchal dominance appeared in the Mediterranean area worshipping human goddess figures, these probably developed as a counter to the patriarchal dominance. They became heavily influenced by moon worship that was accompanied by the story of the subdued serpent as in the pre-Hellenic Pelasgian culture, which inhabited the coastal areas of the country we know as Greece.

Those who abandoned the treaty with the Natural Trinity took up the political-militant way of life and the balanced stool of the Natural Trinity started tipping.

The suppression of the Earth and Sun worship cultures followed.

Man and God

The old tribes had strong belief in the immortality of the soul; when a great king or chief died his soul was revered and called upon to help with the problems of the tribe.

Some rulers were deified while they were still living, in recognition of their outstanding achievements of military service to their country or other brave deeds. They became Living Gods or Demigods in Egyptian, Greek, Roman and other cultures.

The earliest imperialistic societies claimed that their cultural teachers (such as the reptilian Annunaki, the fishlike Annedoti and the giant Nephilim) came from the sky or the sea. These gods had superhuman knowledge and powers and were said to have bred with humans.

Many ancient documents show that the non-human or half-human gods possessed either supernatural abilities much like our modern superheroes or that they had knowledge and technology that was far superior to the humans who were awed by them. There are ancient texts telling of the abilities of gods from other worlds who were able to do miraculous things, which are still in advance of what we can achieve in our modern societies.

It was a common practice in some Indo-European societies to ritually sacrifice an elected sacred king after a term of seven years and bury the king’s head at a city gate to make sure that his soul would protect the city. Some city state cultures allowed the king to chose a proxy for his ritual death and this honoured person, usually a young man (Inter-rex) was crowned for a day and at sunrise the next day was killed. His blood was sprinkled on the fields to fertilise them for next season’s crops. At sunset the real king/rex would be resurrected from the tomb where he was hiding.

This kind of system still relied on a human: it could be questioned and did not allow for an ongoing power base to be passed down to the next generation with consistency.

A king, chief or queen had weaknesses and a mortality that could be seen, so the best figurehead would be an invisible immortal of total authority.

A god that cannot be questioned is almost invincible unless those who believe in it die out. The select few who are trained in the rituals necessary to communicate with the god maintain a set of rules with the support of the people. The people are told they cannot survive without the god, that what the god says is infallible. Whoever questions this is to be punished. Control is thus maintained through the fear of non-survival (e.g.: you will be punished and go to hell and not pass God).

Under this type of imperial religious system the priest or priestess class becomes the power base; the royalty becomes secondary, a puppet representative; and the people are trained to an aggressive military, political and commercial system of empire.

Pope Zachary used the forged ‘Donation of Constantine’ to establish the Church’s position of divine superiority over the royal families of Europe and maintain the idea that kings ruled only by the grace of God. Since the Pope was God’s direct representative he became the ultimate ruler of all the kingdoms under the Holy Roman Empire. Even in modern times factions of the Catholic Church were dominating and manipulating the political powers of Europe. (See Behind The Dictators by Dr L.A Lehman, 1942.) Even today, all Rhodes still lead to Rome.

Maintaining an Empire

Maintaining an empire is tricky and most empires collapsed under their own greed, using up resources that were hard to replace. Imperial civilizations are programmed by the most basic of instincts, the most prominent being the urge to dominate to prevent being dominated.

The instinct to dominate becomes an obsession beyond reason and is expressed as an aggressive accumulation of resources. The problem is that this drive is not rationalised and citizens of the empire become emotionally locked in to the process of status progression and resource accumulation, even when this process is proved to be detrimental to the whole empire. This obsessive behaviour is still manifesting in our modern world driven by corporate empires.

If the status-hungry ruling families are not taking the lead in curbing the demand for material wealth in concern for their own survival then the civilisation will eventually collapse under the strain of trying to hold it all together.

Most empires collapsed through fatigue, broken communication lines, poor leadership, insanity, abuse of power, degradation of agricultural land and forests, division of wealth classes and attack from the neighbours they robbed and subjugated.

Many civilisations collapsed because of sudden environmental changes such as the great drought that the Mayans experienced and the ‘Mini Ice Age’ of the Middle Ages that brought about wide scale famine due to failed food crops.

According to researchers, the collapse of the Classic Mayan civilisation could have been brought about by their desire for greatness. They fed a great number of urban populations with food grown on soil fertilised by plant-matter from shallow lakes. These wetland areas were maintained from water catchments in forests upstream that were gradually cut down to supply wood for burning lime to make plaster used to build the bigger and better monuments demanded by the ruling families. The lakes dried up after the forests were gone; in effect they brought about their own demise by feeding their craving for power and status.

Gradual climatic change has brought down civilisations as the whole network of imperialistic economics depends on consistent growth. The clearing of forests to make way for agricultural practices can bring a dryer environment or desertification and, if combined with adverse natural changes, could lead to the collapse of regional food production and the breakdown of the supporting system that the populace relies on.

Our current imperialistic civilisation depends on a global network of food production, which has become more independent of natural forces but has created a situation of non-regulated forest clearing and over-harvesting of natural resources, which in itself contributes to change in the weather on a global scale.

Our industrial method of food production also depends on a limited source of energy in the form of fossil oil and will come to an abrupt end if resources are not channelled into providing economical energy alternatives. (See A Short History of Progress by Richard Wright).
