About this ebook

Essays From Occupied Holy Land exposes and demolishes malignant, oft-repeated Zionist propaganda myths. The truth is: Zionism is not Judaism, criticism of Israel is not anti-Semitism, Middle Eastern Jews were not expelled from their homelands, Israelis do not seek peace.

The founders of the militaristic Zionist State and their successors Yiddish speakers, of mixed Slavic-Germanic and other non-Semitic origins have deceptively hid behind a religious smoke-screen aimed at covering up their colonial and apartheid policies and practices. They managed with American help to create a Philistine colony in the Semitic heartland of the Near East, falsely claiming a return to an ancestral homeland. The biblical, messianic Return of the Exiles, however, speaks of the return of Semitic, Near Eastern Jews a return which would be realised through peaceful, just means, not through wars, dispossession of the Palestinians, and the cultural and eventual ethnic cleansing of Sephardi-Babylonian Jewry. But the writing on the wall is clear and requires little interpretation.

Personal, moral, and literary in character, Essays From Occupied Holy Land presents an indictment of a rogue, bellicose, Philistine State that is foreign to the Near East and its Biblical and Semitic history and culture.

    PREFACE

The idea for this book came to me possibly after my return from a visit to the Holy Land in late 2008. I think it took firm shape particularly during and after the massive Zionist assault on Gaza. The actual writing of these essays started in February 2009 and work on them continued for some six weeks, to end of March, resulting in seventeen entries. Writing was resumed sometime in May and continued for some three months, to end of July. A few essays were composed later on in the year, particularly in October.

The essays are mostly consecutive, written as ideas occurred to me but, in some instances, an attempt was made later to group them by theme. On the whole, the essays were written spontaneously and in consecutive order. A few of them were later enlarged when some other relevant ideas prompted themselves to me, or some new information surfaced in the media.

For the purpose of this book, the term Holy Land does not only refer to the biblical Promised Land but also abstractly to Truth, Justice, and Righteousness as envisaged by Moses and the Hebrew Prophets. Hence, the variety of subjects that prompted me to think in terms of truth, justice, righteousness, harmony, and so forth. Inversely, this also means the repudiation and denunciation of evil, and of those who practise evil, of whatever faith or ideology.

The term ‘Occupied’ does not necessarily refer to physical, Occupied Palestine. I have used it in a broader sense in reference to the hostage taking and manipulation of truth, justice, and peace by political Zionists. The Hebrew Prophets denounced Evil and evil-doers with great passion and scathing language. Evil was understood in the sense of robbery, extortion, land grabbing, torture, murder, and oppression of the weak and the poor. The Psalmist was ever eloquent in denouncing people – Jews and non-Jews alike – who committed injustice and oppression, those who violated the laws of God and of man.

Upon completion of the manuscript, I found out that some independently developed and proposed major ideas of mine about the Ashkenazim had already been proposed by others, and have been maliciously denounced as anti-Semitic by Zionists. This is proof enough of the truthfulness of these ideas.

Two very important newspaper articles, included in here, were published by the Johannesburg Rand Daily Mail in October and November, 1982, following the massive Israeli military assault on Southern Lebanon and the massacre in the refugee camps of Sabra and Shatilla, for which the Zionist State is criminally responsible.

Under ‘Miscellanea’ I have included some essays on sundry topics that were written some years before embarking on this present book.

The term ‘Jewish’ has been continually misused, abused, and exploited by East European non-Semitic Ashkenazi people whose dubious racial/ethnic origins and culture lie in Christian/Communist/Nazi Europe and not in Semitic Near East. I have touched on this issue in this book.

Israel, the Jewish State, or Occupied Holy Land?

I must admit I had a small problem giving these Essays a suitable title. Having myself a Hebrew name, the reader might make the mistake of assuming I am a journalist reporting from the Occupied Territories or, as it is deceptively called, the Administered Territories. So what do I mean by Occupied Holy Land? Is it Israel, or is it Holy Land, or is it the Jewish State? I chose Occupied Holy Land because, to put it bluntly, I have never recognised the biblical basis and validity for the existence of the State of Israel – in the way this State was conceived, fought for, and established in modern times.

I chose to call these thoughts and musings of mine Essays perhaps because Dostoevsky chose to call his musings from subterranean dungeon Notes – Notes from Underground. And what is this Zionist State if not a suffocating, muddy Dungeon, the sort of dungeon that the Prophet Jeremiah was dumped in for opposing the godless government of his time?

Now my reader might wonder why I do not recognise the so-called ‘State of Israel’. I do not recognise it – even though I know at this time it exists – because it was founded and created deceitfully and with bloodshed, and not on the basis of justice and righteousness, as the Prophet Isaiah had proclaimed:

Zion by justice shall be redeemed,

And those that repent, by righteousness.

                                     Isaiah 1:27

I do not recognise it because it has continued, and brazenly continues, to steal land, demolish homes, torture prisoners and, most recently, bomb whole neighbourhoods in Gaza, killing, wounding, and maiming thousands of civilians. The European founders of this State – secular, godless Jews – misused and abused the wonderful biblical name of Israel. They used religion as smoke screen for their colonization purposes. For that reason the name ‘Israel’ should not be used for this Godless Rogue State.

Some journalists persist in referring to ‘Israel’ as the ‘Jewish State’. I reject this term because it assumes that I, being a practising Jew, identify with this so-called ‘Jewish State’. Even worse, this State of Deceit persists in referring to itself as Jewish claiming, deceitfully and brazenly, to speak in the name of all the Jews of the world. This is outrageous.

Not long ago, I wrote a letter to the editor of The Economist and voiced my concern about this misuse and abuse of the word ‘Jewish’ in their journalists’ reports. I explained that ‘Israel’, in referring to itself as the Jewish State, puts all Jews in danger, implicating in its evil doings even those Jews who strongly object to its political and military unJewish policies. But can anyone realistically hope that this misuse and abuse of the term Jewish will end by writing a letter of complaint? Israeli propaganda and the Western world have for decades been repeating this term, among other deceitful mantras.

Life, as anyone who has experienced life on this planet earth would know, is full of contradictions, humiliations, and ironies, especially for individuals and families that have been displaced by powers beyond their control. As a Babylonian Jew who has been displaced from his natural habitat by the Zionist Conspiratorial Agency (i. e. the Jewish Agency) and its criminal operatives, I identify completely with my Palestinian counterparts. I identify with them even though they might only consider me a Jew and, for that only reason, lump me together with their abusers – their Yahud – and indiscriminately hate me as one of them. I urge them not to do so. I urge them to consider that there are Jews, true to the Jewish religion, who reject this State of Deceit as thoroughly unJewish.

A Recent Visit to Occupied Holy Land

Recently I came back from a visit to occupied Holy Land – the one inhabited by those who label themselves Israelis. I had not been there for some nine years. I do not venture into that (politically speaking) accursed territory unless it is for some important matter. The land itself is holy, sacred, but the people have defiled it beyond measure. In fact, this is the mantra that I often heard during my visit: ‘What an excellent country! But its people are sheer scum!’ Those who repeated these words to me – and of course they did not include themselves in the scum category – forgot that it is people that make a country, not the other way round.

Occupied Holy Land or ‘Israel’ is not the Middle East, and cannot call itself Middle Eastern – nor do its inhabitants wish to be referred to in those terms. It is Eastern Europe transported to this sacred piece of land. It has been polluted with the refuse of whatever remained of East European Jewry, mostly die-hard secular, semi communist or semi-fascist Jews who care for nothing that is truly Jewish; robbers who outsmarted and tricked the Palestinian people out of their homeland. These are the European political Zionists who have played dirty tricks on the Jews of the Near East and dispossessed them of their home countries. As to those who call themselves Ashkenazi Orthodox Jews (and I exclude Netureh Karta and some others) – those I can only classify as fanatic Huns, who happen to observe Jewish rituals to the letter, but have nothing to do with the land, language, music, and culture of the Orient. For it is to this Orient that our Patriarchs of old – Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob belonged. It is to this Orient that Moses and all the other great Hebrew Prophets belonged.

Like all displaced persons, I had left some personal articles in Occupied Holy Land that needed to be collected. But I went there also for another important matter. I had been invited to Jerusalem to give expert testimony in a protracted trial that had to do with biblical antiquities.

West Jerusalem: An Encounter with a Gestapo-looking

    Yiddishy Balaboosta

On 23rd October, 2008, I arrived in Jerusalem at the invitation of a collector of antiquities accused of forgeries. His trial – which is still going on or at least has not been yet finalized – has proved to be a long one. As of this moment, it is now in its fourth year. Prior to my trip, I had agreed with him to give testimony in court regarding the well-known King Jehoash inscription. In 2003 I wrote a detailed research study on that particular inscription and found no real grounds for considering the text of the inscription a modern forgery. My research was published in a well-known scholarly journal in 2004.

Several years later, I wrote a scholarly novel about this inscription.

Prior to my arrival in Jerusalem, this collector of antiquities had generously booked for me a week’s stay at a hotel near the German Colony – Dan Boutique Hotel, to be more precise. As I stepped into the hotel – sleepless and exhausted after an airplane flight of some ten hours – I had to contend with the hard as flint head receptionist. She was big, Polish looking, a Yiddishy balaboosta. She gave me a hard
