About this ebook

Have you ever wondered why you lived through a difficult, life threatening, and heart-wrenching situation? Why did you survive the vehicle accident, shooting, fatal disease, financial devastation, abuse, neglect, overdose, domestic violence, or suicide attempt? Do you think your survival is in vain? Your suffering, survival, and strength are not in vain! God has chosen you for a unique purpose.

Your circumstance does not determine your identity; your God does. You are not what happened to you or what you did in your past. You can change and you can overcome. What once harmed you has now armed you. Let those circumstances which once harmed you now equip you with the essentials for your intended God-given purpose.

Our faith is challenged and perfected in our trials. Our mission is manifested as we mend. Do you know the God of a second chance? I do! The intent of your trials is not to pull you away, but to build a platform for Him to work through you to touch and change others.

Understand you can allow your circumstances to do one of two things: destroy you or make you stronger. The Lord is asking you not to fear, but to have faith and trust in Him. God is calling you to rise up and turn your despair into destiny. Now is your time to Release, Restore and Rejoice!

    Preface

Have you ever wondered, What is the meaning and purpose of my life? How did I survive while others did not? Why am I still here? How do I develop a deeper and more personal relationship with God?

At the end of life’s journey, no one wants to say, If only I had known. Whether you consider yourself to be a non-believer or spiritual person, we all have an innate desire to be sincerely comforted, confident, and complete. Instead of wandering through life uncertain, unfulfilled, and unsatisfied, you can pursue and find real answers to your questions by taking this inspirational and spiritual journey.

The purpose of this book is to transition you from going through the motions to placing God’s Verse, His Word, in Motion in you. No matter whom you are or where you are, this book will extensively demonstrate step-by-step principles on how to apply God’s Word to every aspect of your daily life.

Each Verse will encourage, enlighten, and elevate you to a place of serenity and security so you can stand in the midst of your circumstances. Through an intimate and infinite connection to Jesus the Christ, you will discover your true potential and predestined purpose.

We each have been given a unique, spiritual gift to share with the world. Take this devotional and doctrinal journey to be deeply rooted, and release your gift to produce powerful good works and purposeful good fruits.

This book uncovers issues, circumstances, situations, and choices we all face, or will face, in this journey of life. In this book, I provide readers with the Word of God and lessons on how to apply His Word to their everyday lives. Instead of just existing and going through the motions, now you can live, love, and launch His Word within you! I give you His Verse–the Motion is yours to mightily share with the world.

Mend and Manifest the Mission in You!

    Chapter One

    In His Valley

There Is Healing for Your Soul

In chapter one, we will travel through the journey of hope and healing while you are in the valley. Know that Jesus can mend your broken heart, shattered life, and troubled mind; there is a Healer, and there is healing for your soul. This Healer feels our pains and wants to mend our wounds. Jesus hurts when we hurt. When we face certain circumstances in our lives—whether depression, financial setbacks, relationship challenges, marital burdens, or the loss of loved ones due to suicide, illness, murder, or natural causes—Jesus feels our pain just as much as we do.

Disappointments, dilemmas, and death are all part of life. Unfortunately, these circumstances bring grief and pain. However, be comforted in your despair. Know that even when it seems no one else is with you, you are not alone. In Psalm 42:3, David said, My tears have been my food day and night, while they continually say to me, where is your God? You may also feel like David, wondering, Where is God in the middle of my suffering? You may be pouring out your soul and crying yourself to sleep. You may feel there is no way you could ever have joy again after a devastating tragedy. You may feel cheated and betrayed by God.

At times you may not be able to eat, sleep, or find the strength to get out of bed, let alone talk to anyone about your burdens and sorrows. Sometimes it hurts so much, you wonder if you will ever smile again. It may seem as though no one cares, hears, or understands what you are going through. Occasionally, you feel no one can understand your loss, be it a child, wife, husband, mother, father, brother, sister, relative, friend, beloved family member, or pet. If you have lost hope and the will to live, I want you to know that Jesus cares.

So, why do we get depressed? Well, this feeling is natural, but how can we find peace of mind? To gain peace, we must go deeper in God. This world and the use of synthetic methods cannot provide us with enough hope to move forward from our despair. Prescription drugs and other people will not fix that hole. God’s Verse, His Word, states, If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable (1 Cor. 15:19 KJV). Our hope in Christ, faith in His existence, and belief that He will deliver us must reach beyond this life. We must see, think, live, and hope on an eternal level.

Your state of depression and oppression was not meant to overtake you. Jesus and I are rooting for you, and we want to help you out
