If you are a writer, artist, or inventor, the techniques presented here will give you a hands-on way to discover new sources of inspiration within yourself. For those of you who have spent years insisting that you just are not creative, this is an ideal opportunity for you to explore and get comfortable with your creative process.

      It is a fallacy to think and feel as though you are not and cannot be creative. Just because you do not write, draw, sculpture or paint does not mean you lack a creative spirit. Sometimes it takes a journey to discover a place where your heart truly desires to flourish in creativity. This book takes you through such a journey.

      Being creative requires a systematic approach to lay a foundation upon which the essence inspiration may develop and expand. This book lays that foundation.

      These pages focus on various areas or subjects that require creativity, of which the value found can be incorporated into any area of life. Much of the information was obtained by my personal creative journey and from first—hand observation of individuals in a variety of industries.

      Within that observation, a discovery was found that no matter what creative endeavor you are in, the inspirational process is similar because it comes from the same source – the human imagination.

      There are no special requirements needed to be creative, and whether you are an actor or actress, businessperson or manager, a sculpture, writer, artist, songwriter, architect, inventor, or none of the above, you have a wellspring of creativity inside of you.

      Although creativity is a natural activity, most of us can develop it to a greater and more conscious degree. This book offers suggestions and techniques to assist you in the creative process. By simply reading it, you are taking a creative journey; by following the suggestions you will improve your ability to increase (and if you want, to express) your inspirations.

      You will prosper even more from this book if you do not approach it in a passive manner. Jot down thoughts in the margins as they occur. It’s also helpful if you actually experiment with the ideas presented, rather than just reading them.

      When approached with the right attitude, all the world is a product — a canvas waiting for you to pick up the creative brush of your desire and express yourself. Take the time to determine where your canvas lies and then discover ways in which you can best express your creative thoughts.       Awareness

      Inspiration can be experienced by anyone who is willing to explore their reality, and look at their world from a different perspective. It can come from looking at any part of your surroundings with the right degree of openness. The simple act of imagining or doing different can open the door to discovery, often revealing an easier, better, and more efficient way to accomplishing the tasks demanded of us.

      All of us need and want intervals of feeling personally powerful, in control of ourselves and to have an individual identity. Developing and using your creativity is a substantial factor in satisfying these needs, providing it is in the direction of your chosen environment. It is the one area in your world that allows you to truly express yourself.
