I'm Thinking of a Master Plan. - Elviles M. Crosby II
A Running Commitment
Maybe it’s me
I am in disbelief
Just partial on this
And how it happened to me
Who would have thought
That when you make a wish
You just may get
That in which you sought
But to look no further
How do I know I love her
Am I really ready to give my life to each other
I had more in store
Expecting to get a piece from every core
It is insane and almost crazy
But to pick and choose
Just one lady
To have and to hold
Even when the bond blurs
No matter what is wrong
She is right
Bump heads, curse names
Argue and fight
But in the end
It’s her that makes everything alright
Where is the wrong in that
All Smiles
When you know what you know
And why you know it
Then you are probably right
That’s what’s up
But everything that’s not
Is left let down
To you
See it
You are here
Where x should mark the spot
But you know where you want to be
Where all fact is left behind
And cups are full,
That’s your language
That’s what releases your anguish
This is what you know
And you know why
To be sitting on your own beach
With clinched dreams in your palm
And even more dreams at your lips
Never slips, spoils, or swings
Mood is right, chilly, cool, and breezy
Laughs and smiles you know?
Amber Alert
Green light
Says go
Yellow
Speaks of delay
My little red riding hood
Is the one
I thought
That would stay
Be Careful
People always put their trust in some
Of the wrong people.
Learning later that they never really had you
In their best interest. Never judge a book by its
Cover but always
Examine the truth. The answer is right in front of you.
Being Apart
How do I explain these conversations with myself?
Just a lot of talking lately
It’s been back and forth and here and there
Just double the trouble
Euphoric, at times, it pleasures my pains.
No pain is kept forever however
I try to constantly convince myself that there is no other.
I am at least that sane.
Conversations with myself
Freud says ultimately there is three to blame
But seemingly my psyche pans out like a spider gram
It was W.E.B. who said souls as pluralism
Perhaps that explains my pluralistic
Being apart
Believe In Yourself
I believe that the fear of failing
Dictates some of the decisions we make
The disappointment of a failure will kill a dream
Before it is even dreamt up to take
We feel as if we will not live up
To the potential that we have
So we develop a passive attitude
Due to some happening in the past
We disqualify ourselves from great things
Before realize succeeding
Everyone wants success but not to endure
The feeling of crashing, burning and bleeding
That is the cause of inaction
No one will want to step up
If there is a fear
Of being stomped down with passion.
What are your beliefs?
They all have a chance
Of being ridiculously great
Or greatly ridiculous
Even though we know where some of our strengths lie
And know the truths of our capabilities
We often times count ourselves out
Because we are afraid of the disappointments
Afraid of rejection and being unsuccessful
Therefore making ourselves miss out
On the countless opportunities
A result from this can be the feeling of hopelessness
Able to succeed or improve,
And resolved, helped, or cured
But we just don’t know it, yet
That is why I believe that the fear of failure causes inaction.
Leaves many people scared to fail
Or transcend.
Instead of looking at a failure as a speed bump
They consider it as a dead end
A problem that is creating a world
Of lost dreams and many unknown ideas
