Chapter 1. Shake-essentials: the essential hacks to become a real Shake chef
Starting tips
The smoothie is your breakfast or substitute meal so it must be good, varied, done with the same care with which you prepare or choose your meals:
♥ You must use a blender to prepare it. The texture, taste and consistency is 100% different than when you prepare it using simply your shaker. A lot of clients I know hated the shake when they first tried it out, because of bad preparation (I knew a lady once who actually used to pour the powder inside a shaker first, then only some water (on top), and barely shake it up at all....you can Imagine the result! It tasted and looked like dirty water!
♥ Scroll over all of the recipes and start from the ones which inspire you the most, test them and invent your own!
♥ Change recipe often and keep your shake varied and colorful
♥ If you eat you shake out of home, you can stop at a bar and ask them to make one for you
♥ Cow milk or soy milk can sometimes create belly swelling or intestinal disorders. If you notice belly swelling after you shake, you can try preparing your shakes with unsweetened oat milk or fruit juice (unsweetened): you may be pleasantly surprised in noticing the swelling stops. In case it doesn’t, you can switch to the Formula 1 FREE shake (and consult your health professional if needed).
♥ Remember to always add first the liquid ingredients and only after the powder. If you don’t, you’ll get chunks in your shake that are hard to blend in.
