      Foreword

      Healing is an art and a science. Excellence in a discipline is the product of rigorous academic study of the science of one’s subject from a variety of perspectives and standpoints along with the integration of information gathered from other disciplines, which ultimately enables practitioners to create their own distinctions and draw their own conclusions.

      My academic credentials include the following:

      • Bachelor’s degree in premed from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette

      • Physical therapy degree from the University of Health Sciences in Antigua

      • Doctoral degree in chiropractic from Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, Texas

      • Fellowship in the College of Diagnostic Physicians from Bridgeport Chiropractic

      • Fellowship in acupuncture from the International College of American Medical Acupuncture from Bridgeport Chiropractic

      • Nationally certified in acupuncture from the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners

      These are the politically correct, mainstream credentials, but there are volumes of information available to any practitioner of alternative healing that is considered mainstream by the progressive thinkers of the different disciplines. This information is my forte. My expertise and natural talents in healing have led me to the energetic domain, and I have logged extensive hours attending seminars and studying texts on bioenergetics as they relate to the spine.

      I have synthesized my own research and energetic approaches to health to create an acupressure/acupuncture method of healing called Acu Kinesiology. The primary focus of this method is to decrease the pain in the neck and back more expediently and efficiently than any other approach as well as to facilitate corrections in the energetic systems of the body that provide long-lasting relief.

      I am very fortunate to have been blessed with some very special spiritual gifts that have allowed me to create this healing method. I have been studying the art and science of soul travel for over thirty-five years. This practice has developed my awareness of the information presented by the third eye. The third eye is considered the mind’s eye. It is the spiritual organ that is connected to the pineal and pituitary glands of our body. These endocrine glands are associated with the thalamus and hypothalamus centers in our brain. Their interactions make it possible to interpret the information from the third eye.

      From these observations I have developed the ability to see and feel the energetics of my patients, as I am able to integrate with my gift of sight the interactions of the biomechanics of the central nervous system with the bioenergetics of the spine.

      Teaching this method to health-care providers has been a gratifying experience, especially when I am able to witness a student become aware of their spiritual
